Chris is a qualified solicitor and has been with OPRI since January 2017. Chris is our Commercial and Legal Director, bringing in his vast knowledge and experience gained from his time as a practising Finance & Projects solicitor within the UK.

Chris originally attended the Sauder School of Business at University of British Columbia, Vancouver before transferring and qualifying from the University of Leeds with an LLB (Bachelor of Law Degree), before completing his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, York. Chris completed his training contract with DLA Piper UK LLP.

One of the big drivers behind Chris’ move to the OPC Network was the ability to put his legal training into more specific practice in a commercially focused environment for a company doing ethically approved research in order to change patient outcomes globally.

Within the company Chris sits on our senior management board and leads on client engagement, financial matters and legal contracting.
